Welcome to the International Telstar Owners Association
Thanks to a generous contribution from Performance Cruising, every Telstar 28 owner, as of our founding, is a member of the association. New owners will automatically receive their first year of membership. The ITOA is open to all Telstar owners and enthusiasts.
Currently, the interim officers of the association are:
- Commodore—Ron Marcuse
- Vice-Commodore—Kurt Koenig
- Webmaster—Dan Kim
- Editor—Simon Hayes
Initially, the duties of Secretary and Treasurer will be handled by Kurt and Ron.
This association will only succeed with the participation of the Telstar owners and enthusiasts. We hope you will contribute photos, stories, and technical articles to the Association website and newsletter. We also hope to get additional benefits for our Association members.
We would like the Association and its website to become a resource for all Telstar owners, regardless of which model Telstar they own. We hope to have technical articles on the boats, along with photos, including owner modifications to the design, maintenance tips and techniques and reference manuals for the equipment and hardware that came with the boat. We also hope to have articles and logs from various cruises and voyages that Telstar owners make in their boats. Some of these resources will be limited to members, others will be open to the public.
